15 students from 10A, calling themselves "The Guardians", took on the challenge to raise awareness of Road Safety in our community as part of a competition set by European car manufacturing giant Renault. With the huge popularity of computer games, they decided to create an educational game which would help to make our Shangde PYP students more aware of the fact that Road Safety is very important, especially around the crowded and often dangerous roads in Shanghai and other areas of China. Their fantastic game can be seen here. The graphics, programming, and sourcing of questions were all done by the students, with much of it being done in their own spare time. This game will be a starting point for a new “Road Safety” PYP Unit of Interest, and will hopefully be a first step in a safety campaign not just amongst our students but with young children in the wider community. 15位来自10A班的“守护卫士”刚刚结束了欧洲汽车制造业巨头雷诺公司举办的以道路安全为主题的竞赛。看到中国交通的现状,学生们都意识到要从小孩子开始提高安全意识的教育。又考虑到电脑游戏对孩子们的吸引度，他们决定开发一款适合PYP小学生的电脑游戏，把宣传理念通过游戏形式体现出来。调研，编程，画草图，设场景，所有的任务绝对原创。您现在看到的就是他们的最终成果。然而，这仅仅是“守护卫士”为提高道路安全意识迈出的第一步。希望有更多的孩子和大人能喜欢这款游戏，也能加入“守护卫士”的队伍！
